Mansfield 2 Inch Flapper 630-0173

The Mansfield 630-0173 flapper is a 2 inch rubber flapper. When loking for a replacement flapper it can become pretty confusing. The reason for this being, when measuring across the top of a 2 inch flapper it will measure right at 3 inches, and when measuring a 3 inch flapper it will be closer to 4 inches across. The Mansfield 630-0173 flapper is designed for tank models 172, 173, 174, 392, 395, 4320, and 4321. On the backside of the packaging of the flapper there will be a list of model numbers showing which color insert disk to use with your tank model, it could be a black or white plastic insert. To install the flapper you will first have to remove the old one. To remove the flapper simply bend the rubber arms of the flapper around, and off of the plastic ears of the flush valve. You will then just need to bend the rubber arms of the new flapper until the plastic ears of the flush valve are through the holes in flapper.
