Mansfield 400BLU Genuine Replacement Fill Valve

The Mansfield genuine blue cap fill valve, also known as the 400Blue is designed for the Mansfield models, 125, 160, 161, 165, 170, 171, 175, 180, 181, 190, and 166. This part is the new style replacement for the Mansfield 08 ballcock assembly fill valve with the large balloon style float. It will come complete with the replinish tube, wing nut to secure the valve to the tank, and the red gasket at the bottom side of the fill valve. The float, and height of the tower are fully adjustable. You can adjust the float by spinning the threaded arm that is connected to the float, and you can adjust the height of the tower by pressing up onto the grey plastic ring, and twisting the valve up, or down. When replacing a fill valve it is extremely important to flush the stop out. To flush the stop you disconnect the supply line from the old valve, and place the end of the supply line into an empty bucket. You will then turn the water on at the valve, and let it run for a few seconds and then shut the water off. You will need to repeat this process at least 2 to 3 times to insure there is no debris that will flow into the new valve.
