The Mansfield seat anchor kit will include two metal phillips head bolts, 2 rubber anchors, and 2 plastic keepers for the bolts. This kit is designed for the Mansfield tank models 177, and 178. On these two models it is not possible to get a nut on the underside of the bowl to secure the toilet seat. This kit was made to provide a way to mount the seat to the bowl. As you tighten the seat down the anchors will expand around the bolts to secure the seat onto the bowl.
